National Newspaper Association Endorses Federal Anti-SLAPP Legislation
The National Newspaper Association (NNA) has joined the coalition supporting federal anti-SLAPP legislation. Established in 1885, NNA, which is America’s largest national newspaper association with 2,700 members, represents the owners, publishers and editors of America’s newspapers. Members of the media are frequent targets of SLAPPs, as they often bring to light information that some would rather see kept quiet.
